Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay: Negotiable, based on experience

My Roofing Supply is seeking a proactive, organized, and customer-focused Facility Manager / Branch Manager to oversee operations at our Abilene location. This leadership position is responsible for managing all day-to-day functions of the branch, ensuring smooth operations, customer satisfaction, and continued business growth.

As the face of the branch, the Facility Manager plays a hands-on role in inside sales, operational management, and vendor and customer relationships. The successful candidate will bring strong decision-making skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Relations

  • Handle in-store and phone-based sales inquiries
  • Provide quotes, process orders, and follow up on customer needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and other customers

Accounts Receivable Oversight

  • Monitor customer account balances and aging reports
  • Communicate professionally regarding outstanding payments and billing concerns

Operational Oversight

  • Manage all aspects of warehouse and yard operations
  • Supervise staff and delegate tasks to ensure productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Vendor Purchasing & Inventory Control

  • Order materials and supplies from vendors
  • Track inventory levels and reorder points
  • Compare pricing and availability to maintain profitability

Quality Assurance

  • Oversee order accuracy and ensure high standards in job pack preparation
  • Conduct quality control checks on outgoing deliveries and inventory handling

Reporting & Planning

  • Prepare and review sales and operations reports
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and growth planning

Qualifications:

  • Experience in building materials, roofing, or construction supply preferred
  • Prior leadership or branch management experience required
  • Strong knowledge of sales, inventory, logistics, and operations
  • High attention to detail with a safety-first mindset
  • Ability to communicate clearly and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Forklift certification or willingness to certify is a plus
  • Proficiency with POS, Excel, and reporting systems
